NXNE 2008: Wintersleep
Who : Wintersleep from Halifax.
What : Don’t really think this show is part of the NXNE festival, because I couldn’t find Wintersleep on the schedule. But, according to their myspace page, their doing a free show this Friday (June 13th), Yonge and Dundas Square, 3:30pm. Here’s a live version of their radio hit, sound isn’t the greatest (its a little distorted a parts).

I really love Wintersleep. They are one of my favourite Canadian bands for sure. They’ve been in Vancouver a few times, but each time I seem to be out of town. Having them play a free show is not only amazing, but it’s a treat for everyone as well. To have a band with such calibre play a free show is unbelievable!
